Flying with my feet on the ground

Sitting on the ground with the wind whipping my hair back

Closing my eyes and slipping away from reality

I’ll open up my wings and take off

Towards the sky that welcomes me

Drink in the sunlight and care not of the world down below

See the world in a different light

I’m flying with my feet planted firmly on the ground

No one can call me back down

Until you call me back

I’ll come back to you willingly

With an open heart

And a new sense of what love can be

I’ll fly with you in to the beautiful unknown

I’ll dream with you

Dominate the mysteries of magic

And fight by your side
